Sustainable production with fair pay
Our slippers are made by our talented felt artists in Kyrgyzstan, who are also actively involved in the design and development of our products. We place great importance on fair working conditions and pay well above the Kyrgyz average. We use only sustainable, recyclable resources such as wool and leather for production, packaging, and shipping, and absolutely no plastic.
High-quality felt made from pure wool
The shaft of the shoe is felted in one piece using meticulous handwork, resulting in no bothersome seams on the inside. The wool comes from small sheep herders in the Kyrgyz highlands. Due to harsh weather conditions, it is particularly suitable for processing into sturdy felt, making our slippers especially durable.
Natural wool felt generally keeps you reliably warm, but also has a breathable effect. This means that even after prolonged wear, your feet will not sweat or burn, as heat and moisture are automatically released to the outside air.
Two-tone, extra-thick felt insoles
The included insoles are also made from approximately 7-9mm thick felt, providing a particularly soft cushioned step. They adapt to the contours of your feet over time, offering individual, highly comfortable wear. The insoles are also two-tone and can be easily turned over to vary the color. Of course, you can also use your own insoles in the slippers.
Slip-resistant, flexible rubber sole
The outer sole is made from natural rubber from the rubber tree. It has a slip-resistant tread to provide stability and a secure footing on any surface.
